The European Community negotiated agreements
with several countries which give their nationals
some advantages in migration and other matters related
to business and work. The group of countries known
as the "Central and Eastern European
Countries" (CEEC) have a set of association
agreements which have become known collectively
as the "European Agreements".
The UK immigration rules now cover the "European
Agreements" with Bulgaria,
The Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungry, Latvia,
Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
These agreements provide for nationals of these
countries to establish themselves in the United
Kingdom (and other members states) as business persons
without having to have the £200,000.00 capital
demanded of others in order to establish themselves
in business.
T&C has a specialist team who
can assist nationals of the above countries in setting
up businesses in the United Kingdom and assist with
the incorporation of companies or development of
partnership agreements and ensure that the business
requirements under the "Europe Agreements"
are satisfied. Where an applicant is taking over
an existing or joining an existing business, T&C
specialists will provide professional advice as
to the requirements that are to be satisfied under
the rules.
